Eye Motion Videos

Here are some videos to help students coordinate their eye movements.

Magnocell issues cause difficulty percieving differences in motion. This video is just a warm-up.  Note the directions and estimate the relative speeds, but don’t worry about the answers.  Some of these are difficult to distinguish, but by going through the process of gauging the relative speeds, one starts to focus on this aspect of visual perception.  A blank answer sheet for printing is posted below.

Motion Sensitivity- just a warm-up.  The rest will be easier.  Each line on top should have two arrows or v’s (< or >).

Keep Your Eye on the Dot-  These follow the dot exercises should be done with the eye patch.  Try one with each eye to strengthen steady motion.

                         Blank Answer Sheet:

Eye on the Dot

Eye on the Dot-2:  Switch your eye patch to the opposite eye for this video.  No instructions, but same as #1- follow the dot and write down the flashes of letters.  These are all bigrams, so you’ll get more practice in!
